School

Last week I started school. I like all of my teachers and most of my classmates. My classes so far are very easy. In History we are learning about the Gilded Age. We are learning specifically about Boss Tweed, Credit Moblier ( krey-dee maw-bee-lyey), Thomas Nast, and Teddy Roosevelt. In Science we're learning about Fossils and time and stuff related to that. In Math we're reviewing the easy stuff. In Art, we're learning about lines, value, space, texture, color, and shape. In Research, we're reading To Kill A Mockingbird. It is very boring. In Choir, we are singing two boring songs. And in English, we are reviewing really easy nouns. Well, that's all I have to say about school so far!

RIGHT AFTER SHE IS BORN, BELLA ALMOST DIES, SO EDWARD HAS TO CHANGE HER QUICKLY!!! BUT WAIT, IT GETS BETTER!!!!! JACOB IMPRINTS ON RENESMEE!!!!!!! I KNOW, AWESOME, RIGHT? Well, I just had to tell someone before I exploded. All of my friends are either reading or haven't even started the book, so I have no one to talk to!

Temple

Today my family and i went to the Mesa Temple to help beautify the grounds. We picked up leaves and spread manure and pulled weeds. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed myself and was disapointed when the work was done. Mickey and my siblings, however, were more than willing to stop working. (I love ya Mickey! Don't take this personally!) I thought that we did a great job straightening up everything. The whole time we worked, the song "I Love To See The Temple" was stuck in my head. I was very pleased when the work was done and the man in charge asked that we sing the first verse. "i love to see the temple. I'm going there someday, to feel the Holy Spirit, to listen and to pray. For the temple is a house of God, a place of love and beauty. I'll prepare myself while I am young. This is my sacred duty!"
